Today’s topic: Presidential elections

The 2024 presidential election is eleven months away. In 2016 I suffered from “who not to vote for”. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump were not people I could get behind.

I voted for Trump as the perceived lesser of two evils.

My regret over that vote came at the inauguration when the alleged crowd size was more important than what my choice was going to do for my fellow Americans.

My God! What did I do?

The election in 2020 became a little clearer, not that I liked Joe Biden, but Trump had to be stopped. His presidency was all about him in every way possible.

A walk down memory lane. I voted for Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, both George Bushes, John McCain, Barack Obama, Donald Trump and Joe Biden. My choices were based on my perception of the individual’s character and morality except for Mr. Trump.

The election of 2024 is at hand and polling says that if Trump v. Biden II is about to happen, there are many like me, who want a viable alternative. The frustration is that there is no Democrat or Republican alternative.

My train of thought…
