The business world is rife with cheaters. Greed rules. Only the biggest stories get attention. For every Enron and Madoff there are thousands that fly under the radar.

I believe academia, for the shortcomings that you articulate so well, is rife with educators who care. It’s simple logic, there’s just not that much money in it to attract the professional cheaters. Great post.
